Dental Hygienist

Hello, my name is Elly. I was born and raised in Kenya. I am married with 2 kids. I graduated in 2022 from Howard University with a degree in Bio Chem. I went to Baltimore college to become a Registered Dental hygienist. My favorite hobby is running marathons, track and field. I speak 4 different languages, Kalenjin, Swahili, English, and French. I like walks in nature, Comedy is my favorite thing to watch while i cook my favorite African dish. My main priority is to help my patients get their teeth clean and healthy. I am passionate about oral hygiene and providing the best care for my patients. I believe that a healthy smile is essential for overall well-being. In addition to my professional life, I enjoy participating in marathons and track and field events. Running gives, me a sense of accomplishment and allows me to stay fit. I also find solace in nature and enjoy taking walks to unwind and recharge. When I’m not working or exercising, I like to cook my favorite African dishes. Cooking is a creative outlet for me, and I find joy in experimenting with different flavors and ingredients. While I cook, I often watch comedy shows, as laughter brings me joy and helps me relax.

Dr. Monireh Sichani

Dr.Monireh has been living in DMV since 2001. Her interest in science as well as her passion to care for others motivated her to seek a career in healthcare. She attended University of Maryland Dental school and obtained her Bachelor of science in Dental Hygiene in 2005. She worked as a hygienist for over a decade. Her desire to advance her education motivated her to return to school in 2014 and obtain her master degree in Biomedical Sciences from Georgetown University. She attended Howard University College of Dentistry in 2018 and obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2022. Dr. Monireh then completed a General Practice Residency at Woodhull Hospital in Brooklyn, New York before moving back to DMV area to provide care at private practice.
